1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
1 medium tart apple, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
In a large skillet, brown bratwursts on all sides.
In a 5 quart slow cooker, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir in the bratwurst, cover, and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours or until potatoes and apples are tender.
