Crock O' Brats
Ingredients:
- 5 brats (about 1 lb.) cut into 1 inch pieces
- 5 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
- 1 medium tart apple, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
- In a large skillet, brown bratwursts on all sides.
- In a 5 quart slow cooker, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir in the bratwurst, cover, and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours or until potatoes and apples are tender.
