French Meringue Dessert

Ingredients:
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • Assorted berries
Directions:
  1. Beat egg whites until frothy. Then add 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar. Add the sugar gradually. Beat until stiff peaks form.
  2. Bake at 325℉ in a well buttered 9x13 glass dish for 20 minutes. Cool. Serve with assorted berries and ice cream.
