Black Bean Hummus
Ingredients:
- 2 (14.5 oz.) cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 3 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt--more or less depending on taste
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 2-3 tbsp. water (or more as needed)
Directions:
- In a food processor or blender, add all the ingredients except water and puree until smooth and creamy.
- If needed, slowly add water to reach desired consistency.
- Serve with veggies, pita bread, or chips.
