- 3 lbs. gala apples
- 2-4 cups water
- 2 cups sugar (or to taste)
- 1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon (or to taste)
Directions:
- Peel, core, and slice apples.
- Place apples in stock pot with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, add more water if necessary (depends on how much liquid comes out of you apples).
- Add sugar, reduce heat, and allow mixture to reduce.
- Add cinnamon and simmer for a few minutes.
- Give it a taste, and add more sugar or cinnamon if you think it needs it.
